ACCESSIBILITY

Commitment Statement

Distillery District Early Learning’s mission is to provide high quality, flexible child care early learning programs that promote a sense of community and support for our families. It is Distillery District Early Learning’s goal to support and uphold the requirements of all legislations, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Distillery District Early Learning has a responsibility for ensuring a safe, dignified, barrier-free and welcoming environment for children, employees, our clients, all job applicants, volunteers, visitors and any other individual who enters our child care centre and accesses our information. We are committed to doing so in a manner that respects the dignity, individuality, independence and value of persons with disabilities. Distillery District Early Learning will work to eliminate or minimize the adverse effects of barriers, including physical, environmental, communication, and technology barriers that may prevent any individuals from the full participation as part of our community. We have a variety of policies and procedures in place in order to ensure compliance with the AODA. Providing an accessible and barrier-free environment is a shared effort, and as an organization, Distillery District Early Learning is committed to working to make accessibility for all a reality.
